Cookie Policy
This policy describes the limited local browser storage used by Cedarfieldstudio and the controls available to visitors.
Last updated: 22 July 2026
1. Administrator
This Cookie Policy is issued by Cedarfieldstudio Hospitality Inc. , located at 1188 West Pender Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 4A4, Canada . It explains browser storage and similar technologies used on the Cedarfieldstudio casino restaurant website.
2. What Cookies and Local Storage Are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser when a website requests them. Local storage is a related browser feature that can retain a value on the device. Both technologies may remember preferences or support functionality.
This static project uses local browser storage for consent choices. It does not include external advertising, social-media tracking or third-party analytics scripts.
3. Essential Storage
Essential storage supports functions requested by the visitor and cannot reasonably be disabled through the site interface. It may retain the cookie-preference decision, help prevent the banner from reappearing on every page and support basic form behaviour.
Essential storage is not used to build a gambling profile, deliver behavioural advertising or create an online casino account.
4. Optional Analytics Preference
The preference interface includes an optional analytics category so visitors can record a choice. The current project does not load an analytics library, even when that category is accepted.
If analytics technology is introduced in a future version, it must not activate before valid consent where consent is required. This policy and the preference interface must be updated before such use.
5. Storage Used by This Site
- cedarfield_cookie_preferences: stores the selected consent status and optional analytics preference in local storage.
- Temporary form state created by the browser while a visitor completes the enquiry form.
- Normal browser cache entries for local CSS, JavaScript, WebP images, SVG icons and HTML files.
6. Purposes
Storage is used to remember privacy choices, provide a consistent interface, maintain site functionality and avoid repeatedly requesting the same preference. It may also support security, fault diagnosis and accessibility settings where implemented.
7. Legal Basis
Where GDPR or similar consent rules apply, strictly necessary storage is used because it is required to provide the requested site function. Optional storage requires consent.
Consent may be rejected or withdrawn without preventing access to the main informational content. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out lawfully before the preference changed.
8. Duration
The consent preference is stored until the visitor clears browser data or resets preferences. A future implementation may use a defined renewal period so consent is requested again after a proportionate interval or after material policy changes.
Browser cache duration is controlled by the browser and hosting configuration. Visitors may clear cached files at any time.
9. Managing Preferences
Use the “Manage Cookie Preferences” button on this page or in the banner to review optional choices. Selecting “Reject Non-Essential” records a rejection. Selecting “Accept All” records acceptance of available categories. Selecting “Save Preferences” records the chosen configuration.
Browser settings can block storage, delete existing values or limit site permissions. Blocking all storage may cause the preference banner to reappear and may affect minor site functions.
10. Do Not Track and Global Signals
Browsers may send Do Not Track or other privacy preference signals. Because standards and legal effects vary, the current local project does not interpret these signals as a substitute for the explicit preference controls. We will review recognised mandatory signals where applicable.
11. Third-Party Technologies
No remote font, CDN stylesheet, external script, external image, advertising pixel, social-media widget or third-party analytics resource is loaded by the current front end.
A future addition of any third-party technology must be assessed for necessity, disclosure, legal basis, data transfer safeguards and consent requirements before deployment.
12. Personal Information
A stored preference may be associated with browser and device information available to the hosting environment, but the local preference value itself does not need to contain a visitor’s name, email address or casino enquiry details.
Information submitted through the contact form is governed by the Privacy Policy rather than this Cookie Policy.
13. Changes
We may update this policy when storage practices, legal requirements or site functions change. The update date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes to optional storage will require an updated consent choice where required.
14. Contact
Questions about browser storage or privacy preferences may be sent to info@cedarfieldstudio.com. Include a clear description of the issue but do not send payment information, identity documents or casino account details.
